Problems to be solved
At , the former line was already collecting and utilizing real-time equipment data, whereas overseas subsidiaries were manually recording production results. Additionally, since accurate SPM data was not available when calculating OEE, it was unreliable. To accurately measure SPM, a separate tachometer was considered, but instead, it was handled through POP, just like the headquarters’ former line.
Implementation Details
Signals for count, continuous operation, box ejection, clutch stop, and machine stop were collected using standard PLC equipment, and compatibility with domestic systems was maintained through the CIMON SCADA server system. After interfacing with the ERP database and completing server and terminal setup domestically, installation and communication tests were conducted at overseas subsidiaries. The implementation covered a total of 54 pieces of equipment across all subsidiaries.
