Problems to be solved : Increasing energy costs and difficulty in calculating product costs
Declining profitability due to high energy costs
Amid intensifying competition in the European export market, rising energy costs were increasing manufacturing cost burdens.
In addition, it was difficult to accurately monitor energy usage for each piece of equipment, making it challenging to improve inefficient operations.
Furthermore, a systematic approach to meeting the ESG management requirements of the European market was urgently needed.
Problems to be solved :Implementation of a Smart Energy Management System Based on Real-Time Data
Problem Diagnosis Through Real-Time Energy Monitoring and Analysis
Current sensors were installed on key equipment such as printing presses and plate-making machines, as well as on distribution panels, to transmit real-time power usage data to a cloud platform, enabling accurate monitoring of energy consumption. Through process-specific energy analysis and equipment utilization correlation analysis, energy waste factors were clearly identified, and improvement measures were proposed. Additionally, peak power management features prevented unnecessary surcharge charges. The system also generated reports on power usage cost and carbon emissions per square of printed material, supporting compliance with European export requirements.
Benefits of Implementation : Cost Reduction and Establishment of a Stable Production Environment
Energy Cost Reduction and Increased Production Efficiency
Through 3View FEMS, energy cost reduction and improved production process efficiency are expected. Scientific energy management based on real-time data is anticipated to enhance manufacturing cost competitiveness and improve profitability. Additionally, systematic management of energy usage data will provide ESG-related indicators, enabling effective response to European market requirements and laying the foundation for sustainable growth.
